PERSONALITY

VOCAL/SINGING MAGIC: They have the power to persuade with their voice. This is a bloodline-specific & natural gift (or curse) as many witches in the Highmore family are born with specific abilities.Francis is able to control & manipulate. They, like Orpheus, can send plants & animals & people into ecstasy, madness, happiness, paranoia, or numbness with their music, specifically with their singing. This is most present at shows & concerts where human crowds are highly susceptible to being "lost" to the sound of Fran's crooning & will find themselves overcome by the emotions exhibited in the song.

COMPULSION/SUMMONING: Compulsion is often mistaken for Necromancy as they are able to essentially "convince" & "tell" something to come back from the dead as a form of "summoning." This may lead to imperfect reanimation (someone coming back from the dead but not being "healed" in their body). They are able to persuade & convince others to do other basic & menial tasks as well.

MAGIC SYSTEM

STRENGTHS: Plant life, animals, & spirits tend to trust & obey Fran. They get most of their power & energy from their shows & their garden. Flowers grow fast in their vicinity, they wrap themselves around light poles, bannisters, up along the lengths of doors, & cover most objects. Cats appear in great masses on their property; a hysterical amount of strays naturally lured in by Francis' presence.

WEAKNESSES: Compulsion doesn't always work on other immortals (though it works on some) & they have difficulties gauging what does or doesn't work. They also tend to feel "drained" after a show or after a very energy-pulling magic (like compulsion) which can lead to illness or episodes. Episodes can be anywhere from major agitation or moodiness to fevers, hallucinations, & panic attacks.
